The Shawshank Redemption is the highest rated movie on IMDB with 9.3 There are only 2 movies till now which are rated more than 9.0 and this movie is one of those two with The Godfather.
The movie starts with a court rule of Andy Dufresne’s lifetime imprisonment and he gets sent to the prison called’Shawshank’
He faces a hard time adjusting at this place but makes a good friend named’Red’(Morgan Freeman). He being a banker, helps the staff of the jail with their taxes which later gets famous and everyone comes to him for his help. He even helps the warden of the jail in laundering the money for him. In this process, he creates a whole new person on paper.
He escapes the jail in the end and lives the whole new life with the identity of his self created man.
