I just watched this on TV last night. What a film. I loved the book but the movie was even better, both versions . I think though I like the second version better as Jack Nicholson makes an awesome crazy guy !
This is the story of a guy , an ex alcoholic and his family who go to run a summer hotel in the ’’boonies’’ . It is the story of a child with ESP and the haunting of said hotel.
This film kept me on the edge of my seat as did the book . Every turn there was something spooky happening and the ending was quite the surprise .
Stephen King definitely has the corner on the evil within and I really think you should read the book and then view the film.
