Homer's show all the way

Now, I like watching Hollywood films but have never seriously waited for one with such anticipation as The Simpson’s Movie. From this year’s films, only Jodhaa-Akbar matches The Simpson’s showing me that Homer is nearly as big as Hrithik Roshan for me.

Now the last few series of the Simpson’s have been average, reason they were saving everything for this film. This film also focuses on a topic which is very important in the world today, Global Warming.

The film shows angles between different characters. My favourite is the relationship which is shown between Homer and Bart. We feel sorry for Homer when he is in a state of despair, we laugh with(sorry, at) him when he does something stupid.

Bart’s attitude changed throughout the story. His role is based on his relationship with Homer, and the father-son Jodi triumphs in the end with several hiccups during the film.

Lisa’s role is very important. It is her that causes Lake Springfield to have walls to stop people throwing rubbish into it and obviously that causes the problem later on. Again Marge’s character is important as she is the one who figures out what Abe Simpson was referring to in the church. Maggie is crucial, you have to see the film to know why. Ned Flanders has a big role, and it is linked with the Homer-Bart story.

Other characters don’t get that much scope. Apu only has one line, which we have all seen in the trailer.

All in all, a superb film, a film to see with anyone. It is a Homer Simpson movie.
