’’The Sixth Sense’’ is one of the suspense movies that involves a great creative storyline and carefully stitched screenplay byNight.M.Shyamalan.And of course most of the credits go to him.
The story line is one of the best I’ve seen.Although the narration is pretty slow, the
movie grips.Marvellous performance by the Haley Joel Osment(Cole)and Bruce willis(Crowe).Whether it is the scene where the boy meets a ghost girl and asks if she needs help or when he lets out his secrets to his mom, the boy’s performance is splendid.Bruce Willis has done his part well and even the boy’s mom who bursts into tears knowing her child’s secrets is truly professional.
The film makes you realize how hard it would be for a small boy to keep up a strange and the horrifying secret.climax of the movie where the suspense mounts up and blows away is certainly the best.A film with no CGI, but really grips.This movie is perhaps the best of the director.I don’t want to reveal the plot of the movie for those who haven’t seen the movie as the plot plays a very vital role in the suspense hangover.James Newton Howard’s Background score is big plus to the movie.Especially when a ghastly creature runs behind the boy when he is in toilet.This scene is sure to enthrall the viewers and there are many scenes as that.Brilliance of the director lies in the keeping up of the suspense and
secret of the plot till the end , where viewers cannot guess whats waiting.
The film deserved to be a hit and it was.One of the best suspense movies and the plot remains untouchable with excellence.Sensible direction, Very well plotted suspense, great cast performance, neat BGM makes ’’The Sixth Sense’’ a movie triumphant over all other movies in its cadre.Truly world-class.
