The Skkye Dhaba.Visited this Rooftop Dhaba style Restaurant in Thakur Complex, Kandivali(E) on a weekday. A beautifully done place with colorful exteriors & a cozy little seating arrangement. Although the food was great but the plight of mosquitoes gave us a harrowing experience. The mosquito menace needs to be handled well .
Service was very very slow & only after multiple reminders we got our orders. I guess 2 or 3 eatery in the same building are using the same kitchen & hence this delay . On complaining the same to a gentleman, I suppose he being the manager we were assured that next time this won’t happen & they will take care of it. Also, the serving staff needs to be a bit more professional. While placing the order & inquiring about the dishes in the menu . the person attending us was so fast in speaking & very unclear in his accent that it became so difficult to understand what he is saying .
In spite of the above thumbs down the food truly got a thumbs up from us . It was an amazing affair leaving no scope for any complaints. From their elaborate menu we had the following food stuff.
1) CHICKEN MAKHMALI KABAB:
This dish truly lived up to it’s name. It was delicately so Makhmali that it just melted in the mouth leaving great flavors to the taste buds.
2) VEG EXOTIC SIZZLER:
This was really a Good One.truly lip smacking sizzler. Very well balanced taste with the perfection to tantalize your taste buds. The sizzling hot plate a perfect mix of rice, noodles, veggies and fries. Just Too Good.
3) VEG DILRUBA:
Enjoy this tempting heart shaped dilruba veggie kabab recipe in red gravy. The presentation was too good here . It went off so well with Butter Kulcha.It could’nt have been better than this .
4) MUTTON RAILWAY CURRY:
Delicious & tasty curry with mutton cooked to perfection
absorbing all the spices . Gave a very genuine taste when clubbed up with steam rice. Could not find a fault here either It was Just Yumm. Overall a pleasant experience with respect to food.with some great music.
Highly recommend if the services & the mosquito menace can be sorted out well by the management.
