Ive been to this property twice and the adjacent Taj Fort Aguada twice over the past 5 years, so I feel Im pretty eligible to give an honest review.
It lives upto the the brand name of Vivanta, by Taj. This beach resort is a wonderful example of Tajs hospitality and service. Ive been here during the peak seasons(ie. December) but the staff doesnt make you feel so. The hospitality each guest(irrespective of age) receives is absolutely unparalleled.
The cottages at Holiday village is something one must look forward to while booking. There are apartment type rooms too, but at an extra price, cottages are the something that will make your stay worthwhile. The cottages are based on Goan-Portuguese architecture so they are quite appealing and relaxing. Accompanied by a private lawn and hammock you wont know how time passes by.
There are 3 restaurants here, but you can indulge in 3 more at the adjacent Fort Aguada property. Food is pretty good here.
Coming to the hospitality, my words are not enough to describe the kind of care the staff takes. This is what makes me go back everytime I get a vacation.
Booking is required if youre going during peak season and need a good room with a view. This hotel is kid-friendly, being a resort there are variety of things for all age groups to do. There is a great activity center located just next to the spa which has variety of stuff to do, including my personal favorite, Squash!
How many resorts in India own their own squash court?
Besides, they have a mini golf course too, with golf lessons by professionals.
Theres a lot of stuff I might have missed while typing this out, I apologize if I have missed something. This is probably because this hotel has a lot to offer like ever other Taj property:)
