Read on !

As I sit to write this review, my eyes remind me that I have slept late last night, thanks to the new book on the stands by Chetan. I can make a statement confidently that he has spelt his charm on all young readers in India - no exaggeration, my friends still keep asking me for his previous books and successfully manage to never return them ;)

I have thought not more than a second (true !) to grab this book when I saw the attendent arranging copies of this new arrival in the store. And here I am after 5 days writing about it on MS with the same excitement I had when I read his earlier works.

Someone rightly said ’beauty is simple’, Kudos to his simple yet impeccable story telling talent that will keep you on till you finish the last leaf. It ain’t an Alchemist, but there is this cute thing about his books, they have managed to find their way next to the Alchemist in my bookshelf.

The Three Mistakes Of My Life again deals with sensible concerns the author had about India through a medium of three friends in Ahmedabad and the other supporting characters (this time you might actually fell in love with one of them too !) Its a commentary on the three biggest passions known to Indians- Cricket, Religion & Politics and a proof of concept on the diciest protocols in love perceived by every brother of a cute girl. What makes the story ticks is in its filmy feel and I dont regret to have accepted it with all the excitement Chetan succeeded to arouse with his subtle sensibility and dark humour.

Good work again, Chetan !!
