I have been reading Times of India from my tenth class and that time I found it very good but when I graduated into college, my opinion started changing because this time I was looking for quality news with good opinions. As far as opinions section of the paper is concerned, it is Ok but when it comes to news, they very few things to offer. I like the classification done by the paper of its news sections and the presentation of the paper is really worth praising. it appeals to the eyes.
Focus on TEENAGER
the paper basically focus on teenagers. as I am a resident of delhi, I have been reading DElhi Times And I find nothing useful in it besides information about TV programmes and Movies showing in the Cinemas. Apart from that it is all useless with pictures of Delhi’s Rich people’s parties and some Bollywood & Hollywood masala and pictures. this section is only a attraction for young readers.
Opinions Section
Opinions section of the paper is quite good. specially the Speaking Tree & the main Article. the speaking tree is about spirituality and the article is about political, social and business issues. the opinions page also features an interview with a famous personality to discuss current issues.
Talking about Business page, I will say it is useful with some top news and company specific news but the detail is missing. the page just features the summaries of the news.
Times of India basically focuses on the supplements like Ascent, Times Property which are useful and also these are prepared keeping in mind the readers interests.
in General, I will say that the paper is worth reading for a person who wants to be updated about the current happenings but do not want to indulge into details.
