I was seriously let down by the declining standards of a great daily like the TOI. this, I understand , is in the wake of the crass commercialism that induces reduction in substance and increasing promotions, commercials etc. Gandhiji had said that a newspaper should prove itself in terms of credibility and reliability. well , thats a hard thing to get in these days of hard core commercialism. the run for ads means we get only one article sometime sin the whole page, which is otherwise full of ads, notices and obituaries, all paid for and good news is not!!!!! So there, that is one thing which i’m concerned about and grieved too
