Right from my childhood, I know newspaper means Times of India. I don’t know from when I came to know that there are other names of news papers exist.
The Sunday times was the only attraction in earlier years. Then came the Saturday Times and then Bombay Times.
Daily dose of Bombay times is must for Bombayites. Saturday times has changed to Westside Plus + Bombay Times, but for better.
However these days The Sunday Times is losing its charm. It has aquired looks of a glossy tabloid, sponsored by clothing companies and businessmen to advertise. It hardly has any quality material to read. They can still include Kids section (coloured cartoons, crosswords, nature based articles etc.)
In earlier years, we used to miss Sunday times, if we did not get chance to read it. These days we are ready to give it a miss.
