Awesome movie.....but not the best in the Saga

The 2nd part of the 4th installment in the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2 is just so damn awesome !!. I just totally loved it and though to some extent, it was a little too far-fetched, it was way, way better then Breaking Dawn Part 1. The story follows the book and as all Twilight films, does derail from the book at some parts but is overall a worthwhile watch. Especially to all Twilight fans - you definitely shouldn’t miss this movie.

THE STORY:

Bella is transformed into a vampire with special powers - to control her hunger to an extent and to be able to shield herself from mental powers and also extend her power onto others. Bella and Edward’s daughter, Renesmee Cullen is a half-vampire half-human who also has special powers to be able to share her thoughts with anyone by just touching the person.

When Bella comes to know that Jacob has imprinted on her daughter, she is extremely angry at him and ends up hurting Seth. Meanwhile, Charlie comes to their house to see Bella when Jacob transforms himself into a wolf and tells him that Bella has undergone and unusual change. Renesmee is introduced as their niece and Charlie leaves.

As days pass, Renesmee continues to grow and soon starts talking. One day, while hunting, Irina (from the Denali coven, the cousins of the Cullens) spots Renesmee and she believes that Renesmee is an immortal child which is against the vampire laws. She reports it to the Volturi and they decide to take action.

The Cullens come to know about this and when Alice and Jasper leave them, they start gathering witnesses to prove to the Volturi that Renesmee isn’t immortal and is the biological daughter of Bella and Edward (this was instructed by Alice). The Cullens discover the powers of the other vampires and are soon ready to fight the Volturi, if necessary.

The Volturi arrive and confront the Cullens for this against-the-laws act. In the end, who wins the battle? Are the Cullens able to convince the Volturi of their innocence? If not, what happens? Do the Cullens die? Watch The Twilight Saga : Breaking Dawn Part 2 to know.

CAST PERFORMANCES :

First and foremost, I’d like to talk about the three main characters -

Kristen Stewart - Well, I’m sure most of you know how terrible an actress she is. She did nothing special in this movie too and the first few scenes where she has to show her thirst, and anger, she was disgusting to watch. She overdid it too much and am not very pleased with her performance. Yet, her character is fun to watch because of her metamorphic change and this adds to the delight of the audience.

Robert Pattinson - Robert gave a wonderful performance and it was a delight to watch him in the movie. Though Kristen’s role was more fun to watch, Robert’s character also changes in this movie. He looks happier, is less restrained and on the basis of looks, he is way better than Breaking Dawn Part 1.

Taylor Lautner - Though he didn’t have much part in the movie (he’s a wolf in most of the movie), he gave a fair enough performance. His acting is good and he looks a lot like a person who has imprinted and is madly in love.

All the others - Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz including Billy Burke have done great acting but, I’ve seen them do better.

Oh yeah! I’ve forgotten someone. The cute, extremely sweet and beautiful, and also a new member of the Cullen family - Mackenzie Foy ( Renesmee ). She is awesome and though doesn’t have many dialogues, is sweet enough to win our hearts. I loved her throughout the movie and she is a delight to our eyes.

CINEMATOGRAPHY :

Awesome ! Literally, like, I so loved some of the scenes. The whole movie was beautifully shot and the scenarios were lovely. The arm-wrestling scene, the big fight in the end, seeing the powers of the vampires, the last scene where Alice has a glimpse of the future with Renesmee grown up and happy with Jacob. And all of the credit goes to cinematography.

________________________________________________________________________________

So, I’d say that you should definitely watch this movie. It has a lot happening, quite fast-paced and though a little chipped out on details, it is a worthwhile ending to the Saga. If I have to give a true opinion, then I’d say that not unlike all of the Twilight films, the book is much more better than the movie.

The movie has everything - romance, action, suspense and there are quite a few surprises awaiting the audience in the last fight scene. To all Twilight fans : it is a must watch.
