We had a weekend stay at Willow Hill recently and were shocked with the attitude of the Manager there by name Murali. He is not fit to be in the hospitality or the service industry. Their food sucks; my wife fell sick after eating their restaurant food. and this guy Murali has absolutely no courtesy of speaking to customers. He thinks he owns the place and is doing a favour to customers. He has to be sacked with immediate effect if the management has any interest in serving customers with good will. We had a horrifying experience interacting with him.
The hotel promises 24 hour hot water facility, but we kept asking for hot water and after two hours we get a reply that the boiler is under repair and will be rectified in 10 minutes. But, that never happened and nobody bothered to even inform us or apologise for the same.
We liked the room with a garden attached(no. 134).
It is advised that anyone looking at quality and service, please choose some other place in Ooty to stay(there are lots of places), but go to Willow Hill only if service, quality or customer care doesnt matter to you. not to mention about the food.
