Book on Non-human Living beings

The World Outside My Window is written by one of my favorite authors, Sir Ruskin Bond.

Readability

Unlike other novels written by Sir Bond, this one is a collection of essays and passages about the several creatures that form his world, from start the tone of writing is unidirectional and informative about aspects of Birds, Insects, Trees, Animals; basically all non-human living beings.

The book as a number of scientific terms, which at some points become too much for a layman, but since it is about the traits and tendencies of living beings, we have to give the author that much ease.

Story

There is no story.

The book explores the lives of various insects, birds, animals, plants, etc.

This is much as a text documentary on the co-existing beings on earth, and how they have an impact on Human Life.

Side Note:

For all the budding authors, who wish to explore their limits in writing; do read this book for, understanding of how to write detailed; non-fiction books in an interesting manner

Foot Comment:

Some might find this book not at par with Ruskin’s stature, but the fact is, we have to agree that writers can, be for both fiction and non-fiction genres.

Let’s Read.

God Bless.
