My experience at The Yellow Chilli was far below expectations. One would assume that since it is associated with an industry "legend" like Sanjeev Kapoor, the place will be outstanding. However, the food had very pedestrian and assembly line quality. Very confused cuisine, neither traditional nor innovative. Taste was okay though. Ambience was the biggest let down in my opinion.
Ordered the spicy paneer tikka, palak pindi choley and the stuffed aloo in spinach gravy - which were all okay. Breads(tandoori rotis, garlic naan, pyaz and chilli roti) were flat not fluffy and really quite hard to tear. I recommend not giving parties or treats to friends or family here because you will feel embarrassed and even after spending alot it will feel like a cheap party.
