Here is the latest complaint lodged vide email to lencare and support email IDs, which is self explanatory -» EITHER DELIVER THE PRODUCT OR RETURN THE MONEY IMMEDIATELY.:
LENOVO,
P770 phone was ordered from thedostore on Oct 08, 2013. Got a confirmation mail. Then the wait started. The status of order stayed as'PROCESSING' for eight days. Support mails= NO ANSWER. Then I wrote on Facebook and Twitter, and received a call saying the blue color that was ordered is not in stock. On my questioning HOW-WHY could they take the order online if it was not available, an argumentative representative who called said that I was not the only person who ordered and someone local from Mumbai came and picked up the mobile from the office and so no stock was there. I was furious at the reasoning. I got angry at his illogical response and in a stern voice made him understand that THE ORDER SHOULD BE TAKEN ONLY UPTO THE STOCK THAT IS AVAILABLE(whether it is 1 or 1 million). On that he said that a grey color was available. and I agreed for him to send that. Again after two days the status on site showed PROCESSING. I again called the same Mumbai number from which I got call earlier, and mentioned the problem. and was told that the phone has been dispatched previous day, and as soon as courier WAYBILL number is received, he would share it with me.
By evening I got a mail with shipping number, Bluedart Courier Tracking number, etc. next two days that tracking number did not show anything on Bluedart site and returned error message of INVALID NUMBER. Then I emailed Bluedart with particulars and they straight away replied that the parcel of this tracking number is returned to the shipper, i.e., LENOVO. Since then I have mailed lenovo, posted on their Facebook page, etc, but NO RESPONSE. FUNNY thing is that nowhere on the company site or other places online can LENOVO's MANAGEMENT contact details are given be found so as to escalate issues to senior managenment. Therefore IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM other than WRITING HERE again. Further, I have found step by step same problem faced by RAI CHAKRABORTY as she has written on the page of Lenovo on Facebook. I was shocked to find the same step by step facing of problem. identical. is this a PRACTICE at LENOVO?
As such there was delay from your end. At last, according to email from Lenovo, the shipment ultimately took place on 17th October 2013 around 6:40am by truck freight.
The mail gave the following details about the shipment:
A) Order Number - 100018273 .
B) Shipment Number - 100002395 .
C) Bluedart Tracking Number -
69026315024 .
On tracking on Bluedart site, an error was coming. So I finally mailed the courier company and their response shocked me. They have now said that the package had come back to #Lenovo. There is a limit to my patience and certainly cannot take any more harassment.
You are required to get back to me with proper details and facts as well as deliver the ordered phone(the order that was duly accepted and confirmed by you without any reservations), or else, not withstanding anything whatsoever, I shall not refrain from and may escalate the matter to proper authorities whether internal, external, legal, administrative, social media, consumer protection sites, etc.
Your response is solicited without any delay and on an urgent basis. If you have a problem, let me know and respond, don't keep shut and waste my precious time. Hope you will stop taking your customers lightly and shall respond starting this time.
