Therran revolves around same copy story from lots of other cop stories. It’s real life story inspired by the director but failed to put it on the screen with the same plot. Without love sequence and songs it’s a one time watchable movie. Story starts around a phone call for a case which no one wants to handle and Karthick early wants to solve it as it comes around his past. It’s a simple and normal story connecting with roadside killing and loot in highways. There are couple of good scenes in the movie especially one in rajasthan market and chasing scene which are the only best scenes in the movie. Other than this there is no comparative scene for a cop movie. We expected this movie will be like Singam but director failed with the plot with silly song and love which is not required for a action thriller. My suggestion, same old cop story.
