There are a lot of book available of Sir Stephen Hawking, but I have read only one book authored by him is this one. so I am writing only its review.
this book cover almost all concept of cosmology and it’s an approach to give you a combined theory in which all theories are unified.
Stephen tried to combine all theories to answer the deep mysteries of universe and tried to uncover the nuances of cosmos.
like every book this one also have pro and cons, here are my pro and cons listed below
pros
this book gives you study of several concept in one book
you can see some less known facts to know about Albert Einstein that how his theory of relativity was understood to very few people in the world
it also gives a try to understand the time, how it works and what is it?
you will get to know about black hole and their mysteries in this book
I found it to be written in simple manner
cons
the only con that I believe is a technical one, according to me Stephen’s approach to unify a theory was good but I feel that he is not succeeded as I felt that it’s not a fare approach because one must find logic in first place and then conclusion should be drawn but here I found reverse of it.
So finally if you want to know a lot concepts of cosmos directly through Sir Stephen hawking you must buy and read this book, well this book is a worth buy for everyone who think logically, because you will get a lot of knowledge from it. I recommend you to buy it and if you are physicist read it and compare it on the Libra of logic.
