I would give them 0 stars if I could.
I had booked a "Home Visit starting at 699"(Available in select cities)
which one their website says includes the following at Home Consultation
Full Body Health Checkup
Nutrition and Food Guidance
Medications will be charged as per requirements.
I would assume that the additional charges are for the medications that would be needed. While making the booking, it asks if anything additional would be needed and I mentioned that our dog needed to get vaccinated. And I would have assumed as they are already charging for the visit so they should not be overcharging for the medicines. to my surprise, they charged me 3 times the price of the whole vial and didnt even give us the vial for the next vaccination.
As for the "Full Body Health Checkup", the vet(Pradeep Gouda KB)(who when I asked said was just studying to be a vet) didnt even hold the pet to check the ears, joints teeth, etc. The only thing he did was remove a thermometer to check the temperature. I would have assumed that he had already cleaned and sanitized it as it was coming from a verified source "The Pet Nest", to my horror when he was done, he didnt wipe it or anything, he put it right back in its case after the temperature was checked(I do hope you know how they check the temperature of a dog), It was just sad to see them do this.
We went on to ask him a question about why there seems to be a rash in the dogs ear, and his response was "its OK, it will go away" without even getting close to it or examining it. At this point, we realized it was not getting anywhere. so we told him that was it and decided we will take it up with The Pet Nest, the people who sent the "Vet". We were told that we needed to pay him Rs 2000, so I asked him for the ill, and he promptly responded that we would get it from the pet nest, so we didnt want to prolong the agony and paid the amount to him and he went on his jolly way.
A while later I received a WhatsApp message from him(Not the pet nest as he mentioned when he left) with a bill of 1800.1. Please note the vaccinations given were "Nobivac DHPPi" and "Nobivac Lepto" and nothing else. The Vial was not left with us but it was just this one dose that was given to our puppy. so I called and asked him why there was a discrepancy and he said that it was for storage and cooling charges. So I requested him to add that to his bill and send me a bill for the amount I paid, and he started arguing with me saying that for 200 rs I ask him for a bill. So I hung up and decided to take it up with the Pet nest.
So I thought it was time I spoke to someone in "The Pet Nest" so I called their contact number from the website and told me that someone would get back to me and I waited. A while later someone called "Anjali Gupta" got back to me and Sai she will look into the matter and will get back to me in a day, a day later no call, so I waited another day(Which was till today), so I called her and mentioned to her that I was supposed to get a callback, and she said that the vet had charged how much he had to, so I said I would like a bill for the amount he charged me, which was 2000, she said that the that was without the taxes and the balance amount was for the taxes, not only that she didnt want to listen to me and kept shouting at me saying it was my fault that I paid him then and I should not have paid him and should have called the pet nest, it was very disheartening to see someone in the service industry to talk like that. So then I asked her what the 699 I paid was for, she said that was only for the vet to visit and nothing else. So what they have to say on the website, what they do and what exactly happens are 2 very different things. So I sent her the copy of the bill I got which clearly shows that the taxes were included and she called me back saying that the vet will refund the 200 rs back to me. So effectively I have paid 699+1800=2499 to get the above-mentioned vaccinations to my puppy, with no kind of checkup or anything, and the vet that was sent was not really a VET. Leaving our some parts on how Anjali spoke to me, but I think its better that way.
Horrible experience with them in regards to the Vet at home service. Maybe I will write about the grooming service where we had a good experience, but this was HORRIBLE.
