A few of these stories were weaker than the others, but overall a fun collection to listen to on the train. I really loved the The Queen’s Birthday telegram, it felt like it really happened. Ten of the 15 stories are based on true events. I am so happy I chose this book because I love short stories which have a common theme. The story about the retiree who threw himself into a project to do something great for Britain as his father and grandfather had done, was really a great one. It has masterpieces like in Germany, the tale of a priceless oil painting that has remained in the same family for over 200 years untill.
