Always loved his writing style. I really like short stories because even in your busy schedule you can just read one and go off to sleep. Stories like in the Channel Islands, and Members Only, where a golf ball falls out of a Christmas cracker and a young man?s life will never be the same again. One of the stories I really liked in this book were the old man who was so concerned that his wife’s 100th birthday be appropriately marked. My favourite of stories in the book were The Luck of the Irish, A Good Eye, High Heels and Double Cross. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
