Genre: Grunge or post-Grunge.
Similar to: you’ll probably like this album if you have liked collective soul’s ’collective soul’, pearl jam, radiohead and the like.
This album : this particular self-titled album is a gem of an album. their follow up album ’blue’ was not so good (according to me)...
the music is immediately catchy... tracks ’like semi-charmed life’ and ’how’s it going to be’ will have you immediately sitting up and ready to judge the album a good one... the other tracks, once they grow on you, confirm this to be true. ’jumper’, ’graduate’, ’good for you’ are among such numbers... surprising number of good tracks sitting on one disc.
defi good buy if I ever saw one.
