Mr Kunal and Mr.Sandip along with their father run this travel agency. On 27th August , 2009 I got a contacted them trough a Information Call centre regarding their services. I was told by Mr Sandip that the cost of a Bombay Singapore Bombay trip will cost me Rs. 70000/- and the date was fixed for 9th of September.
I was in a hurry to go for the trip and therefore paid up the entire amount Rs. 70000/- cash in advance. After saving up for a long time this was Me and My wife’s first International trip, littel knowing the horror that I would be getting into. As the date of the trip neared I asked Kunal if my Visa and bookigs were done. He assured me that it had been done and it is being taken care of.
On 8th of Spetember I was informed that I would not be flying to Singapore as "the Visa has not got done" . I then replan for another date on 18th of September. I was told all will be done by then. But to my horror on 17th of Spetember I was told that there was an " Error in Spelling my name" . I then told Kunal that the agency has ruined my holidays and wanted my money back. I was initially coaxed into changing the dates and making other plans but I insisted on a complete refund.
At that moment Kunal’s brother Sandip informed me that the cash is not there currently and therefore will need some more time. I insisited on my cash and demanded it from them. I was then reluctantly given a post dated Barrer cheque for Rs. 40000/- and Rs.30000/- respectively dated 25th September, 2009. On the said date I had gone to the Bank to Encash the Cheque but there was no requisite balance in the HDFC Bank Account. I hurriedly went to the Shree Ram tours and Travels Office at malad east . Sandip informed me that there have been many Holidays and therefore there has been a problem in clearing. I have been given repeated assurances form Sandip , Kunal and their Father that I would be given my money back. Till date I have not got my money back and am stil waitng for my Money. I would warn all people that they sould not go to Shree Ram Tours and Travels as they are a Fraud company managed by conmen and cheat innocent people of their hard earned money.
