My family wanted to go to Rajasthan in the holidays. So I looked up online and found the Rajasthan package on Thomas cook India’s website to match my criteria. I went to their fort office to find out more details. I like the fact that the Thomas cook guys made a customized package for me, all our queries were clarified by their agents. We wanted a 7 day trip with some time to rest and didn’t want to travel a lot. We landed at the Jaipur international airport where a driver had been arranged to pick us up. We had a tour guide who took us sightseeing.
The hotel that we stayed in had a beautiful view and the room service was excellent. After lunch we went to explore the beautiful Rajputana or the land of the kings, is the largest state in the republic of India. We rested in our hotels the next day since the area and view around our hotel was so beautiful that we didn’t feel like leaving our rooms, plus the weather was super cool. The next day we visited The Thar Desert runs parallel to the Sutlej-Indus river valley. It was a serene experience. Since we are Jains, and we will like to visit Bikaner. It’s a jain temple. It is one town we would personally recommend for you to visit if you want to experience the authentic taste of rajasthani cuisines. Later we headed off to visit Jaipur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Jaisalmer the famous cities in Rajasthan and it was really beautiful. Our tour guide who gave away every tiny information about the place and it’s history.
My family and I are happy we went to Rajasthan through Thomas cook. The customer service is also exceptional. Overall we had a fun amazing time.
