NO to Thomas Cook India

Just NO! Do yourself a big favor and skip them, plan yourself but never even consider ThomasCook, it’s the worst company to deal with they just give you headache and ruin your trip. It’s not a peaceful option its full of headache and misleadings.


These are things happened on my trip(Japan)


1. They change dates at last minute.


2. For joining direct they charge almost similar charges, mine become soo expensive even I booked flight ticket and visa.


3. They don’t tell you hotel names and keep it pending till last day so we don’t get to know actual hotel charges or where is the location to plan.


4. Agents who communicate with you have zero knowledge of travel requirements, on my batch there was a family came husband and daughter, wife can’t come due to not having third vaccination and it was Thomas Cook’s mistake not to inform them before making payment also they didn’t return money to the family so forcefully only husband and daughter has to travel leaving wife at home.


5. Agents are completely frauds in terms of communication, they don’t email you if you ask any quarries, they ignore, they don’t pick calls, no response on WhatsApp, when you ask "why" they tell they are not getting response from other teams so they don’t have answers.


6. Customer support is fraud too, when you reach out to agents through landline reception says they will pass message also tell they are not available, instead transferring call.


7. Online toll free number won’t work 19 out 20 times it never connects.


8. You need to sign an agreement where is mentioned charges may change due to flight and hotel, it’s because they do things at the last minute and charge their poor planning on customers.


9. During my payment one INR 70k got stuck and agent said he didn’t receive, so I made another payment so I don’t miss the trip as I have already planned everything, its been almost 30 days bank confirmed Thomas Cook received the payment but Thomas Cook still saying give some time to check, I told send me email confirmation but they are simply denying to do not to have it in records, my agent has no clue about this he is saying give me 2 days time, 2 days time from more than week now, this is just headache to know your money stuck with them even after trip.


I can take name of my agent but I believe it’s the company that should take actions and improve services not the workers. If everyone same then "firm itself a big red flag".


There are plenty of reasons not to consider, I personally will never. So does 20 people who were on the trip.
