I have booked for my holiday schefuled for Jan 2016 wih Thomas Cook as per their request paid an amount totalling Rs.22715/- thru debit card online aishwaryasingh23ment on Thomas Cook website( No discounts).


Couple of days later had to mail them again to ask for my invoice. An invoice sent thru email was for total US$280/-= Rs.19040/( https://m.mouthshut.com/68 rel="nofollow" target="_blank" >@68/$) when I asked them to refund my excess amount I received a reply on email that the amount was wrongly quoted and a new invoice sent for US$320=Rs.21760(https://m.mouthshut.com/68 rel="nofollow" target="_blank" >@68/$).


I again ask them were is my rest of my amount( I paid Rs.22715/-) and I get a verbal reply this time that the rest is all taxes and govt cess.


I seriously doubt if staff is looting the customer or Thomas Cook is taking customers for a ride. While invoice shows a different amount and aishwaryasingh23ment requested was for a different amount.


Also till this time I did not have a booking no. So I again mailed them to make sure they have a booking file no. for my trip which is scheduled for Jan 2016.


After my request I received the  same


Thomas Cook Booking File No. F150014596.


As of now I don’t have a proper invoice and am not sure my taxes which they verbally told will beceven sentvto the Govt for any good reason. I expect an explAnasultantion for all the amount charged and invoice changes from Thomas Cook.


Shows heights of irresponsibility of the famous tour organiser.
