My family is in europe and Thomas Cook India is their trip manager and below is the email written by my elder brother to thomas cook officials in India.
Please read full mail and please share this heartbreaking experience. Never thought such thing can happen. I feel helpless and only thing that I think can help me is social media so guys please share.

Sub: Difficulties faced by us & our group at our tour to Europe & UK

Following are our group travelling together:
Amit Shah & Family - 4(Self)
Bipin Shah & Family- 2(Father of Amit Shah)
Mahesh Shah & family- 2(Uncle of Amit Shah)
Prakash shah & Family- 2(Uncle of Amit Shah)
Dinesh Shah & family - 4( Brother os Amit Shah)
Pranav sheth & family - 4(Joining directly at Paris)
Sir with reference to the above all families & the tour details we are being harassed by the company in the following ways.
Our tour was supposed to be started on 22-05-2012 Tuesday. Till 21st night we were not aware of our itenerary as to where we have to stay or where to go, we didn’t know who was our tour manager. On 21st night they told us that we have to go to Hotel Quality Inn. Problems faced by different families are as under.
Mr Amit Shah & Family: We were in London since last ten days. Since last day I was not aware of where I have to check in on 22nd May. Further on 21st night they told me that I need to go to Hotel Quality Inn Wembly. I with my 2 kids, My wife & lots of luggage went to hotel at 12 noon, there I was informed that there was no booking from Thomas cook there. Sir I was on the Roads of London with my family nearly for 2.5 hours, nobody attending us. Then finally at 2.30 they told me to go to a hotel at Reding(which is around 40 miles from here). I started my journey to reding, half the way I reached and then they told me that now you don’t have to reach reding and I have to go to some other hotel called Premier inn. We were not given proper address of the hotel neither they explained our driver proper address. We were taken to two more premier inns before we reached the final destination. We reached our hotel at around 6.30 in the evening. In nut shell we were rendered helpless on the streets of London from 12 noon to 6.30 in the evening with no body helping us out and the representatives in London literally ignoring our calls.
Mr Bipin Shah & family & Mr Mahesh Shah & family: We came out of Hethrow Airport at around 2. We were kept in the coach for 1 hour outside the airport. Since then we were roming like amit shah. We were first taken to quality inn then to Reding, then to one more hotel and finally to premier inn. We came out of airport at 2 in the noon & reached hotel around 6.30 in the evening. After a tiering flight journey we were on the roads for four & half hour without food and even water.
Prakash shah & Family & Dinesh Shah & family: We were ensured that our group will be travelling in either Qatar Airways Or Emirates. But tour surprise we were handed over the ticket of GULF AIR on the last days. While taking our payments they told us that your full group will be travelling in the same airlines and on the last day they played this mischives. Further we came out of Hethrow Airport at around 4. NO BODY CAME TO PICK US UP TILL 5.30 and then took us to the hotel(IN A PUBLIC TRANSPORT BUS WITH ALL MY LUGGAGE).
After a tiering flight journey we were on the roads for two & half hour without food and even water.
Problems faced by all the persons collectively
There was no Tour manager at the group & the persons attending that time always said that they don’t know anything & they were not our tour managers. Our full First day tour was ruined with lots & lots of mental harassment. They took us for dinner and back to hotel. As per our schedule we were to go to Sanatan temple & for shopping to oxford circus. We were not taken anywhere.
Second day they told us that the tour will start at 9 in the morning. We waited for our tour manager but finally the came to pick up at 10.30 in the morning. We were just wasting our time in the corridor doing nothing. After this late start we are forced to rush everywhere skipping lot many places. We were forced to rush out of Madam Tussaud museum within 45 minutes. We missed lots of attractions just because of the mismanagement on the part of the company.
We are being taken to the same HOTEL named MASALA ZONE with the same typical menu all the three time that we had our meals. Means( 22nd dinner, 23 lunch, 23 dinner) None of us had dinner on 23rd.
Sir till today 23rd night time 11.30 pm( at the time when I’m writing this mail) We are not aware who is our tour manager and at which hotel we are going to in paris.
Sir with this I humbly request you to please cut short our tour. Kindly arrange us tickets back to India. We don’t want to travel any more with this HOPELESS, THIRD CLASS, THIRD CATOGERY TOUR. We are a family of six senior citizens & six children’s among us. The Health of my mom dad & uncle Aunty is being worsening because of these hassles. All are tired a lot because of all this nonsense act of the office bearers.
SIR YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR FULL PAYMENT. ENJOY THE MONEY THAT YOU ALL HAVE ROBBED FROM US. WE DON’T REGRET ON THAT BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LETS US BACK HOME IN GOOD HEALTH. THAT’S A REQUEST FROM US ON A HUMANITY GROUND.
FURTHER TO THIS IF ANY THING HAPPENS TO ME OR MY FAMILY IT WILL BE ABSOLUTELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
Sir I am trying to call all the below mentioned officials at Thomas cook with no response from their side. They are not even picking up the phone rendering us more & more Helpless.

These are the most hopeless office bearers that I have ever faced in my life with no kind of official responsibilities. What so ever being done with our Tour, I please request the higher officials & the company to take at least this people on a better task for their gross irresponsible work.
