I recently had the misfortune of booking a trip to Singapore from them. I booked return tickets for me, my wife and my son. They collected the money first and gave the tickets only after two days after multiple calls. They didnt book return ticket for my son from Singapore.
The e-ticket issued by them only had a PNR number and air india just said that PNR number exists. Later while booking hotel from their website was told that website doesnt work and need to goto their office in person. turns out same hotel was 25$ cheaper per night if booked through office instead of website. Now we had our holiday in Singapore and land at singapore airport on 25th December( a government holiday) only to find that Thomas Cook has not booked my sons return ticket.
Imagine one hour to go for flight departure and no ticket for your son on an international airport with Air India staff on holiday. Ran around all over terminals and finally managed to book one ticket after paying again. Its been a month and even though they admitted their mistake they have neither returned money or apologised. After every call standard answer is we will get back to you. Going to file a consumer court case against them.
