I don’t agree with everything this article says, but I couldn’t agree more with its thesis. Ragnarok was okay. but only okay, and while my eventual revisit may be kinder ( as things tend to work with me) it presently sits pretty as my least favorite MCU flick. I say this knowing it veers into the sort of it’s not how I would have done it form of criticism that routinely vexes me, but I’d have been far fonder of the movie had it cut 30minutes of jokes and used that time to build tension, develop the villain, expand a stronger identity - conflict arc for Banner. As is thought, I’ll be pleased to see a fan edit that trims the movie down to 90minutes and shuts korg the hell up.
