I was just going through the various book titles and found this one ’’Three Men in a boat’ familiar so decided to write the review. Also there was a request from member Alicia. this review is also for her benefit.
The book was given to me by my brother’s friend and is included in our school’s rapid reading section. I tell you it’s a sweet story. As such to tell the truth there is no story. The narration revolves around three good old friends who decided to have a holiday outside in a boat.
The book comprises then the incidents from scratch as to how they start packing for the outing and ultimately how at every step they end up in some or the other trouble.
I don’t know the exact storyline but I remember bits and parts. And would read the book again if I get a chance. It would be great to read it during weekends and also when one is going out on picnics, probably one can pick up one or other prank from the book and play it on your friends during the picnic!
We all have close buddies and have often gone out with them. This book brings us closer to reality and to our college and fun days. I suggest all who love travelling, who love making friends and having a good time should read this. It is worth it. One will thoroughly enjoy reading the book.
