Jasoos Vijay, sounds like another detective serial and that too on DD. But this time around there is BBC as a co-producer which helps in making this program world class. the story line is wonderful, really keeps U guessing who the criminal is, even gets ’U’ a chance to participate and become a winner and the winner gets a chance to act with ’Mr. Om Puri’. Thats not all, along with crimes and murders the team of Jasoos Vijay, his wife and 2 colleagues successfully try to make people aware of HIV/AIDS, dowry problem etc. It is not at all preachy and the viewer doesn’t even realise that he/she has not only come a step further in becoming a sleuth but also learnt how to live with people affected with Aids. Regular viewers are eagerly waiting to know whether Jeet successfully proposes Parvati or not. Even if U missed out previous episodes U will still be able to grasp the meaning.
DD has a reputation of ruining its best programs. I think there won’t be any repeat telecast on Mondays, so better watch it on Sunday( they have shown an ad of ’OM NAMAH SHIVAY’ that will be telecast on Mondays).
