I would like to share with you my recent experience with Thrillophilia.
I had booked a trekking package which is in Karnataka just 2 days before trekking date. Their site allowed to book the ticket showing bookings are available for that particular travel date. But 1 day later booking i.e 1 day before travelling I got a call saying forest permit issue is there. Options provided were I could reschedule the trip to some other date, I could choose some other trek or cancellation of trip which refunds only 70% of amount.
I booked that date because nearby dates I could not.I chose to rescheduling unwillingly as there is no 100% refund. I asked for confirmation mail for rescheduling fro trip arrangement lady. Even after that I dint get confirmation within 24 hours. If I raise ticket on website I had to spoke to same arrogant unprofessional lady. When I was discussing the issue in background heard bunch of voices were laughing at our conversation. The way they treat their customers is just mannerless. According to previous day’s conversation I had to get confirmation for one date, but next day I asked to take some other travel date for rescheduling. Lied on my face that I asked that date previous day. Frustrated me with their service, finally I chose to cancel travel. I lost around 900 bucks.
First of all they should not allowed booking on site if they are not sure of getting permits. That too, I booked just 2 days before trekking date seeing slots are available.But they could not even send confirmation mail after scheduling or rescheduling.
I posted my bitter experience on various sites. They called me seeing my reviews. Finally, I got my full refund of my hard earned money. Thanks to review platforms which helped me to share my experience.
