A bitter taste of Thums Up takes it down.

Remembering those days when Thums Up happened to be a product of the home company Parle, a food product’s giant, taste was really thrilling. Even as a kid whenever I enjoyed Thums Up the effervescence with sharp chilling taste was just superb. What was the formula of Parle, I don’t know but this is fact that the taste & quality is having hell & heaven’s difference, now & then.

Coke ostentatiously boast to upgrade the taste but miserably it is not so. Probably to keep the taste of Thumps Up unique, coke changed the formula but hardly they bothered about people’s opinion. Majority of my friends & people, whom I asked about this, say that better to drink Duke, Sprite, Fanta & Energy. Railway stations or remote areas where there is no option other than to drink only an available product, people sometimes forced to opt the tyrant brands that capture the area literally as a “Robber” or “Gunda”. This is the agony of market & consumers that every possible mean is legal for Big companies to mould the consumers by their juggling & not by quality & quantity. Possibly this is not with the coke only but all the soft drinks are coin of the same pocket. They always priced equal to the mineral water rather drinking water, and then too companies earn a huge profit. They spend large sum of money on costly advertisements. How can we expect quality or taste? Thums Up is Bitter! so all other soft drinks too. Now the slogan should go like this:

Thums Up taste the “Bhayankar”.

Pee ke ise bananaa hai kya Bandar?
