I have been drinking thums up since time immemorial (read as : since I was a kid). I have tried all sorts of cola drinks - Pepsi, Coca Cola, Thrill, Dukes and Campa cola, but, nothing comes close to thums up.
Here’s why I like thums up so much:
a) It is not SWEET, so taste is great
b) It’s got that extra FIZZ
c) It is STRONG
Ever since coca cola company bought out Parle (the original thums up manufacturers), they’ve been promoting Coke more than thums up, as a result it is not easily available, specially in the metros. My humble advice to Coca Cola Company - if it intends to corner more market share from Pepsico- is to promote Thums Up as it’s major cola brand all over the world.
They also need to introduce a diet variant (Please do it on a priority basis).
