It’s a great suspense. The story has been presented very well. Unlike other movies, it’s hard to guess the actual villain due to the various twists of the plot. But you need to be careful. I watched the Aussie title (Tick Tock) initially and also ended up watching the US version later (Clockwork or A friendship to die for). I was wondering why the name of the movie was changed for a long time..

The movie is about a woman plotting to kill her husband for money. She makes friends with Carla, and both share a common bond - love. Together they hatch a conspiracy to kill her husband. They trap Travis (Who blackmails Rachel with photos of her and Carla) to do the killing. (See the way they seduce Travis at the bar) The poor guy never knew what hit’im... The story is told in flashbacks, ie., each characters role is developed as the movie progresses. The clock rolls back to introduce that character to you. Though slightly confusing, it tends to hold your interest right to the very end. There is also a comical detective trying to keep pace with the lead heroines. However things start going wrong. And they run into a patrol car along the way.

This scene in particular keeps you on tenterhooks. See the cop have them take a drunken driving test. And then he notices the half open dickey. The constable wants to check the Dickey. It turns out to be a relief however. The comedy and the suspense in the scene are well told. Good acting by Kristin, in some of the scenes. She excels when trying to keep her cool while she herself is shaking.. Ever the optimist, through out the movie, she takes a positive note by stating ’’This is better than we planned!’’

The ending is good. I hate to spoil the party for you.. Though, this review contains no spoilers.. The movie is available on the video circuit. You may be lucky to get the DVD version.

There’s something Aussie about the movie.. You guess!
