Tiger Zinda Hai

The movie release of this week is Tiger Zinda Hai starring salman khan and katrina kaif.

Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to the successful Ek tha tiger, starts off with a bang.

The tension in the first twenty minutes with a CIA Agent being caught in Syria, the introduction of Abu Usman, the kidnapping of the nurses and the introduction of Tiger gets you ready for a crazy ride ahead.

As shown in the trailers, 25 indian and 15 pakistani nurses are kidnapped and made hostage in hospital in iraq when Abu Usman gets wounded.india has just one week before American airforce will bomb the hospital. They seek the help of Tiger, who is still alive and lives in Austria with Zoya played by Katrina Kaif and his son Junior.

Tiger makes a team of four and heads to iraq and how he helps escape the nurses forms the rest of the story.

The First half is excellent with a lot of action sequences and a good build up to the story and characters. The interval point is on high with katrina kaif joining them.

Sadly the movie is let down in the second half-mostly because the story is based in one location and you miss the cross-country action and also the screenplay drags at this point.

The character of Paresh Rawal, though providing comic relief, isn’t sketched out well enough. The action sequences are amazing and the production values are really high.Music by Vishal-Shekhar is great though the song Swag se Swagat is only played at the end credits.Editing-could have been crisper and the movie which is almost 3 hours long could have been cut down by 20 minutes.

Salman khan is in fine form and does a great job and so does Katrina kaif-the chemistry between them is amazing.Direction by Ali Abbas Zafar is great.Screenplay is let down in last one hour.

The second half has lot of improable action sequenes-but well it’s a Salman Khan movie so who cares.

I would like to give the movie 3 stars.

If you are a Salman Khan fan, definitely watch it.

If not-the movie is good but just wish the second half was tighter.still worth a watch.
