Tijouri is tucked away in a discreet corner of the basement of the Atria Hotel. For those who know Tijouri it is a must visit when one is craving for some nice tasty desi food. But for those who do not know or have not heard of the place it will never be on the list. The reason being a management which has to wake up to the ever changing trends in the hospitality industry and hire some more professionals at the helm.
Tijouris ambience is simple and straightforward but at the same time unique. Money has not been spent on unnecessary frills. The place is well laid out with tables not too close together. Along the wall seating are the typical bench style with long cushions and all furniture is simple and ethnic in nature.
Service is good but could be improved a little more especially when crowded. One major drawback is the time taken to get a drink!
Tijouris portions are something which no one can crib about while taste is always good. This is probably accentuated more by the fact that the food always reaches the table piping hot! Their Hyderabadi delicacies have always benn good as is the Biryanis! I would not dwell too much on specific items as everyone has a different taste!
Desserts are definitely good and definitely not worth a miss!
Prices are truly very reasonable and thats what makes Tijouri a true dining experience!
