I took their broadband connection in pune. They provide it through 3G. However they dont have enough bandwidth and towers. So problems started from day
Connection was dropping every 15 min. I never got the promised speed. When tried reaching their customer care, they just did not help. They said, one tower was removed and hence the issues. I asked them to disconnect my connection. But even after many calls to call center and email exchanges they took 2 months to disconnect it. They always kept saying, we will send someone to investigate your issues. After 2 months they sent me the bill for 2 months. I simply refused to pay, as I had already asked them to discontinue.
Finally, I got a call from a Delhi lawyer that Tikona is going to file a case against me for a payment of Rs.1200/-. I was shocked. I asked them that I have taken the connection in Pune, why are you filing a suit in Delhi. To which they replied that it is because they are registered in Delhi. Instead of going to Delhi and fighting a case for a meager Rs.1200/- I choose to pay them. I asked them to refund me the installation charges of Rs.700/- to which they agreed. But they never paid me that.
