I must say I was very surprised to read these reviews on this ISP, now may be I am lucky but I think I will share a few words of experience here. I have been using Tikona WI-BRO Unlimited 600kbps plan for last 3 months, and I use it primarily on my Laptops, and I must say company has delivered what they had promised. The download speed is really good and connection works just fine, ya it had stumbled 1-2 times in the duration of 3 months but the problems were immediately resolved by contacting customer service.
So for people who want to have a wire free full home internet connection and use laptops or netbooks Tikona is the best! (Now here maybe you can consider that many laptops have Intel processors which are optimized to work in wireless environment)
So I’ll say it works just fine for me no matter which room of my house I am. (And I also SAVE on purchase of a wireless router cost and installation hassles. In fact we should support this company so that it can provide a complete wire free broadband access throughout the city as they are planning for.
