This company tikona approached our society in February 2009 and requested our members to subscribe for the membership instantly and they would give free internet connection for a period of 1 month on trial basis. In the month of April they raised their first bill which was duly paid by me. During this period and in the subsequent period the connection was pathetic. It used to get terminated on its own. If you approach the helpline, they would restore it temporarily but the problem continued.


In the month of may, no bill was received by me. While logging in a complain for poor service, i requested that the bill be sent to me. Despite assurance, the bill never reached me. Again in june the same thing happened. In july, 2009, tikona suo moto discontinued the services and sent their bill for a large amount of rs. 1200 + amount. I disputed the bill saying that their connection was not good and that they had not sent me the bills for the past two months and since june the line was disconected by them. I was therefore liable to pay only the rentals for rs. 249 for the months of may and June. Their representative visited me and assured that the bill would be corrected and on payment of the revised bill, the connection would be restored.


Tikona then sent me a bill for Rs.861 just waiving off one months bill for the period the services were discontinued by them but failed to give a bill for Rs.500 which was actually the amount due by me. The arrears contained certain other charges like late payment etc., which they had no authority to collect since the bills were never sent to me.Despite my sending repeated reminders on customercare@tikona.in that the bill needs to be corrected and that i am willing to pay for may and June, they chose not to respond to those e-mails and continued to send me the bills each month until November 2009.


In the month of february, 2010 i.e. Yesterday, i was shocked to receive a bill of rs.1685.41 (via sms) for my connection which no longer exists. I called up their helpline and a person by the name deepak told me that my connection was active. This means that the connection was switched on by tikona again suo moto without intimation to me only to raise this bill.They are frauds and cheat customers by raising bills that do not actually represent the usage of the services rendered by them.


Please do not subscribe for tikona. They don’t know how to treat their customers. Their only objective is to make money. Customer satisfaction means nothing to them. If you still subscribe to tikona, face the consequences of not heeding to my advice.
