Bought the connection coz I had couple of laptops and wanted some mobility while using the laptops. first few weeks of the connection were really great and completely unbelievable speed. however on the 3rd week, the damn thing just refused to connect. called up the toll free number and they told me I shall receive an sms with the reference number. I did not receive any sms however the tech guy did turn up and got the instrument changed. This did work for couple of days and then the story started. Mein aur mera Tikona!
For weeks there was no connection, the tech guys blamed it on the tower or sum axis point. near my building. Some of the tech guys infact went on to become my friends since they used to visit me almost every alternate day. I have to admit that tikona has invested a lot in resources and marketing and guess there was hardly anything left for infrastructure:).
For months my connection was completely down and I finally rang up to disconnect my connection. As usual I was supposed to receive a sms, till date I havent received any sms from tikona with ref number except for payment reminder sms. I thought the connection was disconnected! But to my astonishment I got a call recently from Tikona "Sir aapke 2 months ke payment due hain " I just started laughing out loud since I thought id get a refund!
I think theres an internal policy of tikona to refuse any disconnections! I wish I had recorded all the phone calls for all you people to have a blast:)
