This is my first review. So if you find anything not in place or not written or placed properly, please pardon me. I will put here the complete exprience of getting harassed by Tikona WiBro.
I was looking for a good ISP who provides decent speed and unlimited data. I had a very bad experience with Airtels GSM services in Bhandup West area so I left it aside for Internet also thinking I might face same issues. Tata Indicom guys were not responding and I needed the connection ASAP, so I called up Tikona guys from a local newspaper ad.
The response was amazingly fast, they came next day for the demo. A sales guy named Vivek came at my place to show me the demo. Despite I specifically asked that I need a Wifi connection, he said "we have a wired set up to give you the demo, but you will ge the same speed on Wi-Fi too." Ok I agreed the speed was fine. Next I asked him to explain me the plans. Now here is a catch you go for any XYor Z plan but you have to pay 500 Rs. as one time installation fee + 75 Rs pm for as rent for using their WIreless Router. I straight away told him I dont need your services as the 500 Rs. for installation charges amd monthly rental for router is senseless, other ISPs are providing the same for free.
So this guy Vivek called his Sr. Sales Exec Nitin and explained him my terms. He talked to me and said Sir, I will do get you a waiver on your installation charges in your next 2 months bills, but initially you have to pay for it, Also my sales guy will give you a modem for free. I was quite happy that this is good, so I decieded to give him the cheque and documents for getting the connection.
Now things started to get worse, as they have got the money.
I waited for 2 days for installation to be done, only after scolding that sales guys and calling them atleast 10 times the field engineers came to my place. It took them 3 hours to set up the connection, and that to a wired one coz as per his explanation, as per companys rules first you get a wired connection and then after 2 days you get a wifi router. But the truth was both the routers he was carrying were faulty. These so called Field Engineers are nobody but any tom dick and harry who had experience of doing odd jobs, with no technical qualifications at all. He was just following some instructions he had written on a white paper. Reason I am so pissed off he, screwed up my whole Sunday Afternoon by taking 3 hours for just setting up a connection.
Now I called the sales guys to get the router. He (Vivek) took his own sweet time of 2 days and then he came to my place and handed over a used router to me. His explanation was , if you do not want to pay rent of 75 Rs. pm for router than this is the best I can help you.
So this was the way of providing free wifi service. Now the router he gave to me, was not working, as it was an old and faulty router. So I called him again, he told me that I am in a meeting I will call you. He never called me after that and even he never stopped picking my calls. I logged a complaint to the Customer Care. I explained them everything, so he logged a complaint, and assured me that someone will visit my place ASAP. I waited for 1 day no call, no visit nothing, I called customer care again, this time they were really rude. And told me we have raised a complaint already, someone will visit soon. When I asked him when he said "I cannot tell you time, if you have any other issue tell me", and then he hung up.
I tried to set up WiFi Router myself, I needed default IP of the Ruckus Router which that sales guy Vivek gave to me. And I could not believe that thay have changed the Default IP of he Router. I called Custpmer Care again and that stupid fellow, like a parrot without even understanding what I was asking, just kept on telling thet "Our company do not have any default IP." He was just not listening to him. When I shouted at him on being irritated, he said Sir I can not do anything, you will have to wait till someone from our company.
Now the wait is on, no calls, nobody has vistied my place, and my Rs. 1433 (Equals to almost 2 months of bill) has already been taken from me. And I am sure that no waivers will be given to me for the Rs 500 which I paid for installation, as these people are big liars and cheaters.
The only good thing is the speed, which is as it was assured.
Other than that my whole experience is been pathetic. I am just feeling cheated and helpless.
Please Please Please stay away from this cheater company.
I will update this review based on my further communication and expriences.

Hi Guys,
After losing all my patience, I finally decided to visit tikonas corp office. I went there on Feb 25th and raised my complaint. I was well attended there and my issue was assigned to Sr. Engineer Mihir. He promised me that some senior person will look into my issue asap. Now the issue has been resolved and everything is working almost fine for last 5 days atleast.
But I will again say this is the most pathetic service provider I have ever been in contact with.
My review stands same, if you have any other established ISP, go for it.
