Extremely pathetic customer support

This is my second review about the disgusting service provided by Tikona WiBro. I had been using Tikona services for almost 4/5 months now and their services have always been pathetic to say the least. Often times, I am without internet connectivity or very poor browsing speeds. Upon complaining to customer care, they will always tell that they the roof-top device is experiencing issues and connection would be restored within 2/3 hours.


Of late, since the last 20 odd days or so, I am having severe connectivity issues. The connection would simply fail after 12/1 pm in the afternoon till about midnight; on rare occasions, when there’s connectivity, the speeds would be less than 1MBPS. Mind you, I am on a 4MBPS plan. I tried complaining to the customer care, but now they have stopped taking my complaints altogether, saying that there is an issue with the main reception tower and their team is working on the same. In the past 20 days, I have hardly had connection for about 48-54 hours. Their customer care team would tell me that I wnt be billed for the period when my connection is not working, however, they would still bill me about INR 855 every month(rental plan of INR 750 plus government taxes). Infact, since the past three weeks, things have become so bad that I have stopped using the connection. I requested for disconnection of my services with immediate effect, the customer care executive told me that someone from the disconnection team will contact me shortly and take care of the request. They surely called, but only once and I missed the call. They never bothered to call back a second time or enquire about the issues I am facing. However, every month, their automated system would call and send messages on my registered mobile number atleast 10-12 days before the due date, reminding me to pay the bill at the earliest. This kind of dichotomy exposes the mean-mindedness of companies like Tikona.


I have given up on any hope of having proper connectivity from their end; I write out to seek advise from fellow users here as to how I can teach these pathetic people a lesson and have my connection terminated. I am moving to a competing service provider from November, enough with this pathetic internet service provider. I have audio-taped a few conversations with Tikona customer care executives wherein they have admitted to continued poor connectivity from their end and I intend to mover consumer court against Tikona. I do have the confessions from their own customer care.


Please help me fellow users and reviewers to find out a possible solution and teach these unscrupulous people a lesson. They simply cnt take users and their hard-earned money for granted.
