Asking me to pay even after account was disconnect

This is Chandrashekar, one of Tikona’s frustrated customer with Account ID - 1108912680.


I had requested for disconnection of my Tikona account for which they sent an email stating my service has been terminated on 17-Jun-2015. Also the Tikona person came and took the instrument from my house.


In their full and final settlement email(see snippet below) it stated that they need to refund me the amount of Rs.498 within 60 days from the date of termination, which I haven’t received till date.


But on 29July2015, I received a bill for the month of July when my service was not active at all.


I replied back to their email IDs(customercare@tikona.in, Tikona.update@tikona.in, j.nair@tikona.in, billing@tikona.in) with my concern, for which I only got Autoreply from their email IDs and nothing more. I never got any call, email, post or SMS from them since then.


NO ONE PICKS THEIR CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER 1-800 209 4276.


And today, I get a call from+918963072238 stating he is an advocate from legal team of Tikona from Delhi and wants to initiate a legal case against me for not aishwaryasingh23ing July2015 bill. Even after informing that my Tikona account was terminate in Jun2015, he went ahead to tell that he will continue with the legal process.


TIKONA WILL NOT ONLY BOTHER THE CUSTOMER DURING SERVICE BUT ALSO AFTER THE SERVICE IS DISCONNECTED….ADVISE OTHERS TO KINDLY NOT EVEN TRY USING TIKONA….


As per your request for termination of Tikona broadband 1108912680, registered against your name, your service has already been terminated on Date: 6/17/2015 06:25:00 PM


Mentioned below are the Full and Final Settlement details for your Account no. 120457794:


Amount for Refund:  Rs 498.82/-


Refund amount would be delivered by Cheque on your registered Billing Address within 60 days of Account Termination date.
