This is true because the same thing happened to me. I used Tikona for 3–4 months. While taking connection of it, they asked me for extra 500/- and conveyed that per month 100/- will be deducted after every 6th month. I was very much upset with their service. On the second month itself, I planned to remove the connection but they gave me a discount of 100/- to keep continuing and also they fixed the problem but again after 10–15 days, I faced the same thing. I was complaining almost on the daily basis.
So I asked them to disconnect it. They said, they have taken the request and forwarded it. I inquired if they will refund the 500/- but they denied. Later, on the 15th of the month, they asked me for payment. I asked them to check my call records and data regarding the bill payment and said like whatever you want to do, go ahead. On the daily basis, I was receiving calls from them and I have always conveyed to them that I have already paid for how much I have used.
Later after few months, a lawyer called me from Mumbai, and she was talking like hell. She was talking like I need to be guilty. If I asking anything to her then also she always uses to say, “Why are you wasting my time? I am not a Tikona lawyer.” I was unable to call customer care also as she said that “Tikona don’t want to contact me, as the case is now on the court.” If I ask her, to whom I need to contact then also she was not talking to me properly. She used to text me like,
“Mis. You are wasting my time so now I am registering your case then I am forward your legal notice so you come to court.
I don’t know how the hell these people are. “Tikona is fraud”. Never trust them. I too want them to return my money.
As a citizen of India, if a lawyer is calling me for a warning then I too have authority to ask their License number. But she denied and said who are you, to ask my license number.I am very disappointed with Tikona.
Never take Tikona service, otherwise, you will regret.
