Totally false promises

All I want to say is it took TIKONA 1.5 Months to send an engineer to resolve a small issue as a rooftop modem faulty and the best of all Tikona claiming for the service that it did not provide. I paste email communication here so you guys can come to know what kind of service you would pay for, if at all you decide to go with Tikona after reading this review.

Further to my previous mail, I would like to bring to your notice that TIKONA has not clarified any thing yet. I received a bargain call from the Tikona team and as I mentioned to you in the previous mail, I was offered a waiver of Rs.982/- for which I refused and I still am on the same stand. Now Tikona collection centers are calling me 7-8 times a day and asking me to pay my bills. I would like to as you which bill are they talking about and for which services. Is it for the services that Tikona did not provide?  Tikona has not provided me with services in the past 1.5 months and now Tikona, does not even ashamed, calls me up to ask for a payment of Rs.500/- odd and the caller tell me that a waiver of 482/- has been raised on your account. I would like Tikona to disconnect my account at the earliest if Tikona is not ready to give me the waiver for the services not provided and I have already given the instruction for the same on the 27th of January 2015 on which Tikona has not acted yet. I can definitely understand that Tikona services are like a snail and will take years before any action can be taken. But from here on I would ask Tikona NOT TO CALL ME regarding anything because I am fed-up of false promises that your company is using to loot the people. I repeat the same as in my previous mail - A credit/waiver of Rs. 1727/- or disconnect my connection as Tikona pleases.

Dear Mr. Nair,


I have been writing mails to you and updating you with the kind of ill services that Tikona has been providing since past 1.5 months. I was glad that after one and a half month my connection had started working fine, since past 2 days after the visit of the Engineer at my place and after he changed the rooftop device. Now this was a simple solutions and could have been done very well before a long time. But I fail to understand why Tikona was reluctant in sending the Engineer and what took Tikona so long to send an Engineer.


All said and done, after my connection started working fine I asked for a waiver for the duration for which Tikona did not provide me with services and I understand I deserve not only a waiver but also an apology from Tikona. The executive from the senior desk who called me last time was also of the favor that Tikona provides me with the waiver and he assured that he would endorse the non-service period and the lack in service that Tikona showed in resolution of such a small issue. I demanded  the waiver for the previous month, for which I had paid Rs.1236/- and not received services as promised and a waiver for this months till 2nd Feb(because that is the day when the service restarted at my place) for which the bill generated is Rs.982/-. I had called and let Tikona know that I would not pay the 982/- till my services are provided as promised. In all the waiver I asked for was 1236/-+ 491/-(Half Month), i.e. 1727/-.  I would like to bring to your notice I have not claimed any loses that I incurred because of the  no internet service and the troubles I had to face to get Tikona send me an Engineer.


To my surprise, I received a bargain call from Tikona for which I refused to compromise. The Bargain started at 400/- to 500/- to 650/- 750/- and finally 982/- when I had to tell the lady(Priyanka) to stop bargaining. The strange thing here is Tikona is not even sorry for the ill service that it has provided since 1.5 months. Now, if Tikona understands customer service, I would suggest you to get processed the waiver for  the duration for which Tikona has not provided me with services, i.e.1727/- or I would understand that Tikona does not understand customer service and I would gladly disassociate myself from the service of Tikona and let Tikona keep the money that Tikona has already collected from me and not provided the service for.


Also I would like to bring to your notice, that I am not interested in receiving any further bargain call regarding the issue. Tikona can give it or just leave.

Dear Tikona,


Receive multiple calls from the Senior desk in the past 1.5 months without any solution. I am glad that finally on 2nd Feb after 1 and a half month there was an engineer visit at my site(which should have been scheduled way early) He confirmed that the rooftop device was faulty and was one of the two reasons of frequent drop in the connection. He changed the rooftop device and the connection is much better then before, though not 100% as it should be. The engineer said that the second reason was too much floor noise at the tower where I was getting connected which needs to be corrected by the backend team. Now my connection is stable with "request timed out" at every 3 to 5 pings and for the same reason there is a slight drop in the speed.


Also, Now that the technical team has confirmed that there is an issue at the tower where I am getting connected and every connection that is connected to the same tower is facing similar issues and also and the rooftop device changed, I would like you to waive off the service charges paid to Tikona by me for which the services has not been provided to me as promised. This includes the waiver for the previous month money paid and the current month as well, for which I have not yet paid and the last date of payment is 31/1/2015.  Also please get the technical issue at the tower resolved at the earliest. Please look into the matter and do the needful at your earliest.
