My ordeal with Tikona Wibro started since the time I took the connection in May, 2015. First, they didnt do the installation on time. After a lot of complaints to the customer care and TRAI finally, they activated my service. The past 10 months have been mixed, with sometimes the connection working fine and sometimes, it simply will not work.
The latest ordeal started since Monday. My internet connection was working fine, but suddenly it stopped. After 2/3 complaints to the customer care, they agreed to send a field engineer. However, the engineer was worthless; he couldnt even identify the problem.
The second service engineer came on Wednesday(more than 30 hours after my complaint). He was somewhat better; atleast he tried to identify the problem, but alas couldnt. Both the service engineers said that the problem is with their device. I asked them all along to change the rooftop device, since they agreed that the device has developed a fault. However, nothing helped. On Thursday morning, I had to instruct them for discontinuation, following which, the regional service manager, Mr. Amit Singh(South Kolkata, Gariahat area) stepped in, said the device is faulty and agreed to change it. However, since his promise, almost 6-8 hours have passed but no solution as yet.
If Tikona members are reading this, then take this as my final warning, disconnect my service since you dnt want to repair it. I have had enough of your stupid excuses. For people who are in Kolkata and are considering Tikona, I will dissuade you. The plans may be cheap, but so is the customer support. Consider other options who provide better customer support.
