I have been using Tikona for last 5 months, residing at Velachery in Chennai. Overall my experience is not satisfactory. High downtime, poor response from the customer care and field technicians, and highly unreliable service. The services goes off every now and then, and will remain cut off for 2-3 days at a stretch till they bother to respond. In one instance, I was without internet for a week. Speaking with the customer care is a pain, as they dont seem to have proper documentation on the history of your issue. You need to tell the whole Ramayan every time you call them. Even the wait period is over 10 minutes every time you call the customer care.
Interestingly, the field technicians have their mobile phones with incoming barred. Means they can call you at their own fancy and liberty but you cant call them back. God forbid if you miss their call for any reason, they have an excuse that you didnt pick up his call, and thats the reason for delay in restoring the services.... FUNNY.
Even with such experiences, I am tied with their services because I paid for 6 months service and dont want to loose my money I spent on the stupid service from this stupid company.
Finally, I could sense that, even the top management of Tikona is not serious about retaining their customers. One customer goes, who cares !!! we have few more to loot.
