First Of all, I think these guys who have posted comments here are hired by Tikona itself to show that they provide good service. Or, these customers are not from mumbai and might be receiving good service or rather not had any major issues to report to Tikona.
I had a very bad experience with the service that includes misleading information and charging me approx 1000 Rs extra than what I was promised. I was the victim and could not cancel the subscription because I had made a cheque to them, when I called the person who sold me the package over the phone, said sorry that’s the charges and I should go for it because I had given them the cheque already and there is no way I can cancel and get the refund. So I had to pay additional amount and started using the services. The package was for only 3 months.
So after 3 months I called the customer services to inform them that I no longer want to continue and place a request to disconnect the service. They would never listen to me and always try to convince me to continue the contract. I was really frustrated because I had other works to do and these guys would not even bother to know that having internet is not my current requirement because I don’t be at home most of the time and I have company provided internet t use. In spite of several call they did not disconnect the service kept billing me.
after couple months I received a call from Delhi(that’s what the caller said) and the lady said that she is a lawyer working for tikona and calling me so that I pay some 2000 rs for the services which I never used. I explained her the situation that I have already cancelled it but she wont listen and threatening me that I would receive a legal notice from the government for not making the payment to tikona.
So thats pathetic service can only happen in either Pakistan or some crap country. I didn’t expected such things to exist in India. companies like this are just a crap and bug which should be pestisied, thats only possible when people like us take some action. though I know that these a* hole cant do anything but still I want to teach them a lesson and I am in process of filing complaint in consumer court with the help of a highly qualified lawyer.
