I took a Tikona connection at Hyderabad. I had severe connection issues, I was paying a monthly rental of 650 but I could never load a whole page most of the time. I was patient since I was not aware of anything better. I raised several complaints of network being down, but still had to pay every month when half the time it was useless to even check mails.
I took the nearest available connection, which was fiber broadband of 10mbps, which I paid around 999. It was a huge difference, I realized I paying for nothing, but I made sure I paid the current month called tikona and asked them to remove the cable from my house since I was no longer using it with my system and was connected to beam broadband. The guys did not come to take the cable with some modem connector and billed me for next month too. I said you can check the data usage and see if it was connected, so I will not pay anything more.
They offered free upgrades to 1mbps, asked to maintain a secondary connection since I had dns free with beam so I can have backup etc. However I promptly refused. These guys bugged me for months about the bill, black mailed me couple of times for litigation.
Finally they stopped, only a year later to start again. Now three years down the line out of the blue they call me up today 2.2.2013 and tell me out of the blue its tikona and I have unpaid dues. They also had a new threat today, appear in Delhi court tomorrow. Sunday ?? Which Delhi court works on Sunday ?
Anyway I hate these guys and their continuous harassment and would not even recommend them to my enemy. I don’t mind filing a case against them and loosing money rather than giving in to their threats!
