I am a resident of HSR Layout and would like to warn all fellow Bangaloreans that please do not ever subsribe for TIKONA WiBro Internet services. I can describe Tikona in one work, JOKE.
I have used FMC 799 [connection # 1102xxx108] plan and more than my usage I have filed complaints and called customercare. 2 Mbps is same as 200 kbps in TIKONAs(sub)standards. I am so much pained and feel wasted that I decided to cancel the connection. But the moment you call contact center and tell them you want to cancel and disconnect the Tikona connection, they hang up.
Tikonas Advanced TechSupport on the phone is located in Mumbai and the Advanced Support they provide is same as arranging a tehcnician to come home. Thats what they call advanced technical support.
The local tehcnician is least technically skilled, just known how to align the NANO device to face the nearest access point, and thats it.
Another scam in Tikona is speedtest.tikona.in. This shows the speed you get when connected to Tikona Wibro connection.
One of the Tikona Engineer accepted and agreed to the fact that its tweaked in a way that it shows at least 512kbps more than the actual speed.
So if you are experiencing actual speed of 512kbps, tikona speedtest shows 1 Mbps. I have checked it againsspeedtest.net. Results confirm.
If TIKONA is reading. I want some one to come and cancel my connection. I can fill the post with another 100 pages worth content purely based on the issues, pains and trauma dealing with customercare but I have better things to do and cant waste further time on this.
